Carole Ann Baer has been in the ballroom dance track since the late 70’s. She has danced with the Arthur Murray Dance studios in Boston, Mass and Salt Lake City, Utah, and the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Boston and Worcester, Mass. Carole Ann studied dance while in college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. While in college she danced with the world champion BYU Ballroom Dance Formation Team.
She currently teaches dance for local dance studios, various Adult Ed programs as well as at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass where she also started the Brandeis Ballroom Dance Club and Performance Team. Some other projects of interest have been her role as choreographer for the Ephraim Curtis Middle School Theater Troup choreographing for plays including Bye Bye Birdie, Anything Goes and Guys & Dolls and the Temple Shir Tikva Players including Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and most recently Grease ~ The Megillah.
She is a champion competitive dancer and continues her training with various coaches from the Boston and Worcester area. Her love of ballroom is evident in her teaching style and approach to students of all ages.
