Heidi has a BA in Visual Arts Concentration in Graphic Design with a Minor in Music from Pine Manor College and an MA in Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Set Design from Emerson College. She has been Ballroom Dancing for five years. Certified Full Bronze in Smooth and Associate Bronze in Rhythm, she has also studied ballet, tap, jazz and modern at Pine Manor College and Denise Day Dance Studio.
In addition to teaching at Poise, Style and Motion, she is Technical Director at Pine Manor College and teaches Design and Building for Theatre, Costume Design and Introduction to Theatre as well as designing sets and lights for all PMC productions. She also volunteers as a scenic artist for The Weston Friendly Society, a community theatre in Weston. In December 2010, she was a swing dance coach for The Hybrid Movement Company and Dance it Up’s co-production of Clara’s Dream: A Nutcracker Story which was performed at the Hanover Theatre. Heidi also owns Casalinga Interior Concepts, a full-service interior decorating company.
Originally from Grafton, now a resident of Shrewsbury, Heidi has two sons, Tommy and Aidan and the family pet, Stitch, her Shih Tzu. She enjoys theatre, art, gardening, making home improvements and spending time with family and friends.
